Buying Guide:

ICE |  2 pounds per guest | If we run out there is no substitute.

WATER | 5 gallons per 100 guests | Can be purchased as bottles, or by gallons, we can provide a water dispenser if the caterer does not have this available for you.  We require there to be water service while bar is open.

WINE | One case equals about 60 servings | If you are serving wine we recommend choosing one red and one white for a well stocked bar and 2 reds and 2 white if you are only serving beer and wine.  A wedding of 200 guests we recommend 4 cases of wine.

BEER | One case (24 bottles) serves 10 guests | 1 full keg serves 165 and 1 pony keg serves 80 | If you are serving beer we recommend choosing up to 4 kinds.  A gluten free option is always nice to have.

SPARKLING WINE | 7 servings per bottle | For toasting only we recommend dividing the number of guests by 7 to get an almost exact amount you need for the toast.  Some people choose to get one bottle per table for the guests to pass around and share. If you want some for serving at the bar as well its best to have at least 6 bottles to serve behind the bar.

LIQUOR | 1.75 liter (handle) for every 30 drinks  | We suggest buying handles of alcohol to save money.  Depending on your signature drinks is what you will be buying and how much of each.  But in general I would recommend buy 4 handles per 100 guest if there is also plenty beer and wine.  If the majority of your guests enjoy cocktails you should consider adding in a couple of handles.

MIXERS | Depends on what you are serving | For a well stocked bar I recommend 2 cases or 6  2-liters of coke, 1 case or 4 2-liters of diet , 2 cases or 4 2-liters of soda water, 1 case or 4 2-liters of tonic,  2 cases  or 6 2-liters of sprite or 7-up,  2 64oz bottles of cranberry juice, 1 case or 2 64oz bottles of pineapple juice, 2 64oz bottles of orange juice, 1 bottle of Rose's Lime Juice, 1-2 bottles of simple syrup, 2 cases of ginger beer. For signature drink we can come up with a good quantity of your mixers.

GARNISHES | Depends on what you are serving | For a well stocked bar I recommend 24 limes, 24 lemons, jar of cherries, fresh mint, jar of green olives, kosher salt.  For signature drinks we can figure out what garnishes are needed and how much to buy.

NAPKINS & STRAWS | 4 of each per guest| I recommend getting a pack of 500 napkins for a guest count of 100.  Straws come in packs of 1000 so this will be just fine for most guest counts.

GLASSWARE | 1 cup per person per hour | I recommend disposable cups for the bar.  Glassware is classier but its also way more costly, more labor intensive, more water usage, breakage, etc.  We love to use clear plastic cups you can purchase online or at Costco or smart and final. The shorter ones for wine and the taller thinner ones for cocktails.  You can also get clear solo cups for beer.
